Authorities in Allen County are investigating the death of a jail inmate. The Lima News reports correction officers found the inmate unresponsive around 5:15 p.m. Doctors pronounced the inmate dead at St. Rita’s Medical Center around 30 minutes later.

The sheriff’s office isn’t releasing the inmate’s name pending notification of family members.
