Carey Buys Generator For Police Department

The Carey Police Department will operate normally the next time the village has a power outage. The Courier reports the village is buying two portable generators at a cost of $16,000.

The village is installing the equipment in the Public Services Building and Waterworks Park.

The police department lost power during a recent outage.
