Ohio State Representative Robert Sprague has announced his candidacy for Ohio State Treasurer. He said that he wants to use the position to make Ohio better.
He said if elected he will continue to tackle the opioid epidemic and work on financial education pieces for college-bound families. He also wants to help those with disabilities gain more financial independence without losing benefits. A final issue he is looking at is supporting our foreign allies such as Israel.
He said that moving into a state seat will provide new challenges.
He said that he will have to be well organized in his campaign planning. He added that he is off to a great start with donations coming in. Below is a video from the Courier of our meeting with Representative Sprague.
