AEP is dealing with several power outages in the region this morning, but things appear to be getting better. AEP’s website reports more than 1,000 outages in Hancock County at the moment, down from a peak of more than 2,000 earlier this morning. Only a couple hundred outages remain in Findlay. An outage east of Bluffton continues to affect around 300 customers and should be fixed by six tonight. A seperate outage near Mount Blanchard is affecting more than 500 people. AEP says power should be restored in that area around 6:15
